About GRE Exam

…well it goes like dis …i plan to give my gre next year in june 2011 … but i have a doubt.. we are suppose to give da name of four universities which v need to sent.. but wat if we dunt immediately want to sent to da university??? like in my case ill give my exam in june but the application process in da university i wish to apply starts in september 2011 (for fall 2012) ….so will my gre report reach there even be4 i start my application????? is it not possible dat i sent da score later wid my application….

hello am a b.tech chemical engg student(final yr)…am writing gre by this september…i want to do MS in astrophysics or any other fields related to astronmy…is gre physics exam a mandatory thing for studying astro thing or the normal gre is itself enough???pls reply:)ll i be able to get into univ with normal gre exam score???

Hi,
I’m going to take my CAT examination after another 2 years now.
I’ve heard that competitive exams like CAT,GMAT and GRE have standard books that guide students in preparing for them…for example,people tend to follow Barron or Kaplan books for GMAT and GRE,but I don’t know about any such book for CAT.

i am doing B.tech ( 3rd year) and i would like to prepare for GRE. i have gained enough knowledge through the net about gre! i have few questions…
1. do i need to take classes or self studies are sufficient ?
2.how to start and what are the best books for starting… i am an absolute beginner in this field..
3. how long does it take to prepare for it? ( i know it varies from person to person but a rough idea will do)
4.what else is needed for gre apart from an acceptable score?

I need someone to either guide or suggest me a ‘complete guide to studying in US universities’. I’m in India and might want to do MS specializing in Engineering.The guide could be a book or a good career consultant. I want to know not just about using GRE scores to enter in to different universities, but also about tuition fee, Misc. charges, getting aids/scholarships, working around, Lifestyle there etc.. In short a single source that should tell me all I want to know about studying in United states (Prob Ms in Electrical and computer engineering & related courses.)

I found this book “Wanna study in US?” by Natasha Pratap. It’s the best i’ve got so far.
